dinner on a friday

it's been long since i last updated. was too lazy to organise the info and update. now i'm blogging instead of doing my homework. it's bad...seriously bad of me.

anyway school's been, erm, okay? except that it's getting busier now with all the assignments due soon and tests coming up and i havent been studying and always procrastinating and finishing up my assignments last minute. what makes matters worse is that the lectures are difficult to follow, especially when you get boring lecturers, the info is difficult to digest, and i don't revise. hooray for me!

always look forward to weekends where we'll hang out, go for dinners, chat and eat and drink at the house for hours till 4am. been putting off my work for too long and now i have to rush.

photos from dinner last friday at a steamboat restaurant. we didn't eat steamboat but we ordered form the ala carte menu. food's good and rice is free flow. and the waiter was damn funny. definitely another place to go to again.

while waiting for the food...an li and shaun.yummy yummy =)next on-->to a dessert shop. nice rose patterns on the wall =)great desserts to end a mealyes the guys were happy. from left: zhan hou, shaun, wei wen.the happy girls: an li n me.

i totally hate lit review. i'm doing everything i like to do now, except lit review. WHY?!? why do some journal articles have to be soooo shitty?

wondering whether i should change my air ticket date earlier if my exam ends early...but it costs A$100...sigh. can't wait to get back.. i miss everyone.

updates again when i feel like it. take care everyone, especially when the weather's been so rainy and hot back in s'pore.

people say...

"it is easy to get into university of adelaide, but difficult to get out"

i say,

"bingo!"

the start of another dreaded week...

HELLO PEOPLE!!!
haven't updated my blog for quite some time. this update is to show that i havent died.

my life so far--9th august:singapore's 43rd birthday. Went for national day lunch (yes in adelaide for the homesick) at Stamford Hotel. Nasi padang buffet was *cough* GOOD *cough*. It was damn nice singing nday songs, especially "Home" and the national anthem.
At night, my friends and i decided to do online streaming of the NDP, and project it on the big screen and share our joy with fellow singaporeans. Was pretty boring at some parts, but we got everyone to stand up to sing the anthem and recite the pledge. Patriotism, i say.
this recent friday, zhan hou and i decided to cook dinner for everyone. i made pasta, he made potato salad. bought an absolutely heavenly cheesecake and a few bottles of wine. too much leftover food and lots of potatoes and still left in the fridge......
saturdays are marketing days for me. it actually feels good to do marketing. and the weird thing is, i actually find cooking and washing up therapeutic. conclusion: it is very nice to do things at your own pace and when there's no nice tv programmes to distract you. exception? studying still sucks.

photos time!!!
lunch at Stamford Hotel. ahhhh the flag :)the beauties.the beasts. (no offence meant hor...)
NDP screening at the common room. photo taken before NDP started.

on to friday-->
the food......chefs for the dayand yes, the cheesecake was that good.the people.
i'm so screwed. i hate checking the timelines cuz everytime i do, i realise i've something(s) to hand up soon. i seriously can't wait for all of these to be over and be back to home sweet home.
i keep procrastinating when it comes to homework. please slap me. i'm the no. 1 procrastinator. i ought to win a prize for that.
something for thought--"the most important things in a relationship are Trust, and Respect" (quoted from zhan hou)
i would like to add an "Honesty" to it.
think about it people. how many are actually guilty of not doing these? we wonder why relationships fall apart.
it always takes 2 hands to clap, yeah?
take care everyone. i'm actually enjoying the weather (w/o the rain) here. when i get back to sg i'll be in sauna. ^(oo)^
